Thanks for your reply. The IIS will be used to serve as the front end of SQL 2000, to access data and to store/update data as well. That would be all. It won't be used to host multiple web sites, for example, or for any other purpose.

You need to determine the priority of usage -SQL Server or IIS. You would be wish to test with and without the /3GB switch.
