Password Compatibility?

Tech-Archive recommends: Repair Windows Errors & Optimize Windows Performance

I'm trying to configure my SQL 2005 services to use domain accounts; due to
a security configuration for our domain, all service account passwords must
meet a strict passphrase complexity requirement. I cannot change the
password for the account that I am trying to use.

Does sql 2005, using the SQL Server Configuration Manager, support passwords
with spaces in them? When attempting to use an account like this, the error
returned is 'WMI Provider Error: 0x80070056 Password not correct.'
