Hi,
I made that, deleted the *.ldf file and re-attach the database, but I get an
error saying that phisycal name of .ldf file is not correct.
How can I attach only the database without the .ldf file?
Thanks.

I was suggesting that you use Explorer and Delete the log file.
(dbname*.ldf) -first making a copy of the log file (or renaming it). And
then re-attach the database.

Hi,
How can I do that copy you mentioned.
Sorry but I'm not experienced in SQL Server.
Regards.

If you were attaching the database, and got that message, after making a
copy, you could attach the database without a log file. You will be
prompted
to verify that you want to create a new log file, and click ok.
At that point, if your log file should be larger than the default size,
you
may wish to increase the file size.

Hi,
I made an attach of a database, but then got the error 9004: Error
while
processing the log file.
Is there any chance of putting this database to work?
Thanks in advance.
