Yes, tried that.
/? doesn't seem to give you all the switches because I see no skuupgrade on
the list when I do that.

skuupgrade=1 is the switch the error recommends.
When you run
setup.exe /SKUUPGRADE=1
it tells you it can't upgrade the version and you should use the
skuupgrade=1 switch.
Tried that with several variations with upper and lower case and "/" and
not....
It now tells me that it won't upgrade because there's a later version on the
machine.

I have a XP development machine with sql express on it.
I would like to install sql 2005 developer on this machine.
When I run setup it tells me I need to run the setup from a command
line.
I can't find any info on doing this.
