Hi Gary,
this should possible. AFAIK, there are no differences in file structure
between SQL Server editions (except for SQL Server mobile and perhaps SQL
Server Express, not sure about that). And since the system tables (of your
user data base) are included in the data base, they will be reattached as
well anyway. If you referred to the system tables of the master db, you
shouldn't have to move them. Just make sure you have the same users set up
in your Standard Edition instance so the database accounts can be mapped to
the sql server logins.

Hi
Does anyone know if it is possible to detach database's from SQL 2000
Enterprise edition and re-attach them on Standard Edition? If so is it
also possible to do this with the system tables?
