It the case of WorkGroup it is limited to two CPUs. So it will limit to 2 of
the 4 cores.

It'll be limited in what it can use so it will install and run just fine.
It won't use more than 3GB of memory but SQL Server does include support
for multicore processors and hyperthreaded processors so it will take
advantage of all 4 of the "processors" that it sees.

Can SQL 2005 Workgroup Edition be installed on a Server that has more
than 3GB of memory. Also it looks like it counting my two XEON processor
as 4. Is the limitation based on what it going to use or will it not
function on a box that exceeds it limits?
