SBS Backup Failures after Installing SQL 2005

Hi All,
I have recently installed SQL 2005 and CRM 3.0 at a clients site. Ever since
installing these the SBS Backup has been failing. I have only experienced
this problem at this site and have tried everything to fix the problem.
The backup log records this error:
***********************************************************
"MSDEWriter" has reported an error 0x800423f4. This is part of System State.
The backup cannot continue.
Error returned while creating the volume shadow copy:800423f4
Aborting Backup.
***********************************************************
I have dealt with this error previously before SBS SP1 was shipped. I
understand that this was caused by databases not being set to simple recovery
mode and this affects the VSS ability to back up the system state or
something to that effect.
The system in question already has SP1 installed, I have also re-installed
SP1 for good measure.
I have also set every database on the system to simple recovery mode
including the master, tempdb, model and msdb of all instances MSDE and
SQL2005, CRM, adventure works etc, you get the picture.
Still I am getting the same back up failure with the above error.
There is only one KB Article relating to this problem that I can find "KB
Article Number(s): 828481 Language: English Platform: i386" I have retrieved
the hot fix for this and tried to install it but as I suspected it is already
included in SP1 and can not be installed again seperately.
Is there any one that can help with this problem as my client has not had
back up in place now for 2 days. I have now put in a batch copy to at least
copy there critical data to the back up media but this is obviusly just a
patch.
Would really appreciate any help.
Thanks.
