Re: Can't install SQL Server 2005 Express Edition on WinXP Pro x64 (0x80041008)

I have solved the issue using FIXWMI.CMD solution from
SQL2005 forums. It won't work first time anyway, I've run
sqlncli_x64.msi, sqlwriter_x64.msi manually from saved
temp folder and only after that SQL2005 Express Setup
runs OK. Ugh...

Whe I trying to run setup manually from CD-ROM:\wcu\SSE\
SQLEXPR.EXE, it fails on "SQL Server Setup is scanning
your computer's configuration..." with message:
"The SQL Server System Configuration Checker cannot be
executed due to WMI configuration on the machine (PC name here)
Error:2147749896 (0x80041008)."

Please, let me know what WMI configuration is important for
correct installation of SQLS2005Express x64 on WinXP Pro x64
and what should I check on my system to run Web Developer properly.
