RE: HELP! Cannot connect to SQL Server

Read another post in this forum that said to change the SQL Server
Registration" to use "SQL Server authentication." I did that and was able to
bring up the databases under (LOCAL). However, I could not see the tables,
etc. under my finance databases. Yet they are "working" as I was able to use
the finance software and see all the data. I am able to see the tables, etc.
for all the other DBs under (LOCAL). Hem?

How now may I change the "user default database" which Enterprise Manager
said could not be opened when I was using Windows Authentication? Is this
done in the "Startup parameters" on the "General" tab of the server
properties? If so, it looks like it currently has a default database:

-dC:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\MSSQL\data\master.mdf

If this is the case, I do not understand the problem. This file exists, and
the Master database shows up under the databases for (LOCAL) and I can see
its tables etc.

ANY HELP WILL BE GREATLY APPRECIATED. God Bless and thanks.
