Re: SQL 2005: Help files not valid?

Please try the following instructions to remove and reinstall Books Online.
If this doesn't solve the problem, we'll need to get the Visual Studio folks
involved.

To reinstall SQL Server Books Online after a failed uninstallation:

1. In Add or Remove Programs, select Microsoft SQL Server 2005, and then
click Change.

2. Expand Workstation Components on the feature tree, and then clear the
Books Online selection.

3. Complete the remaining steps in the Installation Wizard.

4. In Add or Remove Programs, select Microsoft SQL Server 2005, and then
click Change.

5. Expand Workstation Components on the feature tree, and then select Books
Online.

6. Complete the remaining steps in the Installation Wizard.
