SQL Express not broadcasting

I've installed SQL Express on one of my computers at home - I have a couple
of apps that use DMO to list all available servers - - and, knowing that SQL
2005 still incorporates DMO - I see, that these apps, IF on the same
computer as SQL Express, will list the SQL Express instance.

However, on the network - on another computer, the apps can't see the SQL
Express instance, even though it can see other SQL 2000 instances. I've set
it up to use TCP/IP and I am pretty sure it's Port 1433. The computer where
it resides is XP and the computer that can't see it is a win2k box.

How can you set SQL Express, so that it broadcasts across the network (so
that it can be recognized by DMO sensing apps)?
