Tech-Archive recommends: Fix windows errors by optimizing your registry



Some programs bring a small firewall with them, protecting all port which
are not opened manually, perhaps you should look there if port 1433 and 1434
(the Standard ports of SQL Server, may differ if you change them manually)
are open.
