Problems installing sp3a.

Hi, I have a server running sql2k standard edition. I need to install
the sp3a on the server. At this moment there is no service pack
installed.

When i execute the sqlsp3.exec it reports this error:

"Th instance name specified is invalid"

I execute the select @@servername and it display the server name.

Do somebody know why i get this error?? What should i do to install the
sp3a??
