Hi Group,

Perhaps this is the wrong forum for this post, but I'll post here anyway and
hope for some results.

I am trying to install SQL Server 2000 on my Windows XP machine but keep
getting an error saying something about the SQL Server 2000 component not
being compatible with this version of Windows.

Anyone know what that means? And more importantly, what I need to do so I
can install SQL Server 2000 on this machine? As you can probably tell, I am
very new with Windows XP and am just starting to get my feet wet.

Any help would be appreciated.
Richard
