The best way to get sarted with Maint Wizard (or any of these admin tasks)
is to start playing with it and get a feel of the things it can do and
cannot do. In this case, the DB Maint Wizard is used to for performing
backups/restores/checkdbs/dbreindexes etc. Also you can schedule these same
basic tasks for recurrence through SQL Agent jobs.

| I posted this in tools, but decided this is probably
| where it should be.
|
| I am new to SQL Server and am wondering if there is a
| step by step guide on setting up the Maintenance Plans
| and what the difference options are used for.
