Here's the fix: Find the MDAC 2.8 version of the oledb32.dll file (if
you can't google it, email me and I'll email it to you).
The size is 500KB and the version is 2.80.1022.0.
Copy it to your C:\Program Files\Common Files\System\Ole DB\ folder.
(Backup your old one, to be safe.)
get to that folder via the command line, and type the following:
regsvr32 oldedb32.dll
This will work if you are using SQL 2000 SP3a in Server 2003.
