SQL 2000 autorun stops
Tech-Archive recommends: Fix windows errors by optimizing your registry
Date: Mon, 23 Feb 2004 10:20:02 -0800
Trying to install on W2000 Advanced Server SP2.
Start Autorun and can select Install database.
Always proceed to just sit there with only an occasional
registration in task Manager that msiexec.exe is running.
Waited overnight and still no application and no Events.
Want to find the switch to install from a DOS windows
with log output for analysis or answer to the possible
cause.
Can anyone help.
p.s. I moved from the Registry the SQL keys that were
associated with the MSDE db that I uninstalled.
