Hi,
The scenario:
* Server 1 is a DC and contains a domain DFS root
* Server 2 is a member server running Exchange
* Server 3 is a member server running SQL Server
We want to use the DFS namespace as much as ever possible, but we also want
to use local storage on the SQL and Exchange servers for speed.
Is it feasible to tell Exchange to store files on the DFS \\Domain\SQL
and then point \\Domain\SQL back to \\Server 3\Data? Or does this mean
that all access to SQL databases wil go across the network and back?
Thanks in advance for any input!
Regards,
Jørn
