Hi all,

I have faced a problem about the partition capacity.

The partition is used to store the SQL server .mdf and .ldf files.

The capacity of the partition is 48.8GB, used capacity is 43.9GB.
However, the total size used of the files in the partition is only around 3GB.

Does anyone know why there is extra 40GB space used"?

why does it happen?

Thx.
