I have SQL Server 2000. Over the weekend I have a maintenance plan that backs
up the Master, Model and MSDB databases. This is the only thing different
that happens over the weekend. 90% of the time, on Monday mornings, I will
come in to find that no one can connect to the database. I have to open the
server services manager and stop everything and then restart it. This
corrects the problem.

Does anyone have any idea why this is happening and how I can correct it?

Thanks,

OnTheFly
