1- What is the error message your are getting when you can't attach? What
does the log file say?
    I seem to remember having this problem a while back in EM. I closed EM,
then reopenned it. EM was keeping the old information and had to be flushed.

2- Try backing up the db, dropping it and then restoring it. In EM you can
then change the file names.
