unable to register MSDE

Hi everyone,

I have an issue regarding the registeration of MSDE. I have MSDE installed
on XP machines. Recently, I installed SP2 on each machine. Though I have
exceptions for the ports 1433 and 1434 but I still cannot regsiter them on
my machine. I also have SQL2K installed on my machine. My machine is WIN2K
server.

Please help.
