Help with sp_helpmergepullsubscription

This stored proc seems to have started running periodically on one of our
servers and nobody can determine why. We are not using replication and have
no subscriptions. When it runs, it locks one of the databases (non-pretty).
After looking in MSDN, I am at a loss as to why this process is running.
Can anyone here shed some light on this for me.
