Hi
You will need to run the service pack for all instances of SQL Server
running and at a guess your Developer Edition is not the default instance.
Details of exactly what/how you ran this may help.
I believe the highest version of MDAC is 2.8.
If you are running a production system, then you should not be using
Developer Edition.
