I am trying to modify the [Service Manager] start up from
...\sqlmangr.exe" /n
To something like this...
...\sqlmangr.exe" /n /c /s {server}\{instance}
So that it displays the status of the correct instance on startup. Curretnly whenever I start up my machine, i.e. every morning, it displays a red square in the system tray because it has selected the default unnamed instance. I then have to open it up and select the named instance. I would like it to start up selected on the named instance.
If this is not possible should I switch to using the default instance instead of the named instance?
Please help.
regards,
Raj
