Yeah. I thought that was the cause as well. Although all files were
local files, I deleted all the string/binary values in HKCU\Software
\Microsoft\Microsoft Sql Server\80\Tools\SQL Query Analyzer\Recent File
List.

Unfortunately, this had no effect.

What is weird, is nothing has changed on this machine except installing
MS windows update. My guess is something there is the cause.

I'm going to take a look at Jasper's post. If nothing happens there, I'm
just going to un-install / re-install to see if that makes a difference.
