I have inherited a database from a previous dba which, for
some reason has two data files, and two log files. The mdf
file is only small ( 20MB), but the ndf file is 20GB in
size. What I would like to do is to increase the size of
the main file to 30 GB ( this I could do ) and move the
data from the ndf file to the mdf file, and then remove
the ndf file. I would also want to do the same to the log
files.

Could someone point me to the right direction, as I could
not find it in the online book.

Thanks

Alex
