Hi there

I have a simple active/passive setup, win2000 running ss2kee sp3a. After
installing a named instance, I quickly moved onto service pack 3, which then
tells me to reboot the node before attempting to apply the SP, which I did.

After rebooting both nodes, and installing the SP, failing over the node 2 I
get the error "MS clustering service failed to restore a registry key for
resource SQL Server".

So perhaps my rebooy was a tad premature in terms of time. So I attempt to
remove node 2, all fine, reboot the node, reinstall node 2 and reapply the
SP, and guess what, the same error.

Thoughts? i dont really want to reinstall the entire instance and start from
scratch.

A google search has come through blank for me in terms of solutions/other
possibilities.

Cheers

Ck
