Hi,
I understand that some of your PDA devices with SQL CE 2.0 failed to
perform update action during the merge replication process.
If I have misunderstood, please let me know.
From my research, I have not found any known issues according to the errorcode; however I found that there is a known issue of synchronization for
SQL Server CE merge replication. Please refer to:
FIX: Synchronization fails for SQL Server CE merge replication

The hotfix acquisition requires your contacting CSS.
Also, due to the complex environment and limited resource in our newsgroup,
to track the root cause, it is recommended that you contact Microsoft
Customer Support Services (CSS) for the best support of mobile related
issues. . Please be advised that contacting phone support will be a charged
call. If it is confirmed to be a product issue, the call will be free.
To obtain the phone numbers for specific technology request please take a
look at the web site listed below.

Engineer within 1 business day is acceptable. Please note that each follow
up response may take approximately 2 business days as the support
professional working with you may need further investigation to reach the
most efficient resolution. The offering is not appropriate for situations
that require urgent, real-time or phone-based interactions or complex
project analysis and dump analysis issues. Issues of this nature are best
handled working with a dedicated Microsoft Support Engineer by contacting
