To recover corrupted database

Hi,

I have a test database. In case if the database is corrupted, how can I
retrieve
the database. I heard that using log transaction files we can retrieve the
DB.
But I don't know how?
The DB is in Simple recovery mode.

I want to know how can i recover a corrupted database?
and deleted database?
