In an Access 2002 (Runtime) Project (.ade) (on a Windows XP Pro Laptop)
connected to a merge anonymous subscription (hosted on the <local> MSDERelA):
I would like to put the Synchronize Now functionality INSIDE the Project.
Currently we use the Windows Synchronization Manager (Start, All Programs,
Accessories, Synchronize), but would like to tighten Security to where ONLY
the Project Code 'knows' the Username/Password to the Publisher database.
The Publisher is hosted by SQL2K on a Windows Small Business Server 2003 and
accessed via Dial-Up VPN. I tried to understand KB324992, but it hands you
off to BOL, and there to SQL-DMO, but it is mostly concerned with Adding or
Altering, not Managing.
