Replication and permisions

Hi, I have some troubles with replication and permissions. I have two SQL
Servers on different phisical locations. Both servers establish your
comunication through a VPN. But replication don't works due permissions
problems between both servers (this happens on Windows and SQL. I think that
the solution is to deploy a DC on a server, and make member of that domain
to other server and clients. I'm confused and it's critical.
