Hi,
I have set merge replication to happen on our production servers. These servers run SQL 2k with SP 3.
I use FTP to distribute snapshots from my publisher to subscribers.
But now we might be getting a firewall set in our organization. Obviously port 21 would still be open as we need FTP for other FTP applications in my company. But what I am afraid of is, port 1433/1434 may not be left open. So would that mean that my SQL replication would stop? How do I go about this scenario?
Please advise.
Thanks in advance.
Regards,
Karthik.
