The messages you can send from within Enterprise Manager are sent via
the Messenger service (please note, I'm not talking about Windows
XP/MSN Messenger here). These are the same as if you use the "net send"
command from the command line.

For doing it directly from VB, I think I ripped off my code from VBNet
(A MVP site run by Randy Birch). Check out the following link:
