Cannot disagree with you here, though it doesn't bother me too much, other
than the litigous side of it. Sounds largely free market to me, since we
are not "forced" to use Microsoft products. I don't like the government
involved in anything really, and I am not sure what kinds of laws could
destroy Open Source, but I am pretty sure that they will be as successful as
the entertainment industry will be in crushing piracy.
