Dear Experts,
I have posted this problem few minutes back i have added
few more things in this so this is updated version of my
last post so pls do not reffer my previous post.
I am facing one problem on my client loactions Please
advise me .
At our client we have SQL 2000 and client application is
on VB6. It was working fine.
2 months back we have splitted our exitsing DB into Two
seprated Dbs and installed on the same SQl 2000 server .
After splitting the Dbs it is working fine.
Yesterday we have installed these 2 dbs on Two different
SQL 2000 servers.
Configuration of servers
IBM Xeon , 2 GB ram ,NT 5 and SQL Server Service pack 3
On Client Machine we are using ADO 2.6.
.. We have created Link server on both the servers to
communicate with each other beacuse our application is
integrated with both DBs.
After restoring the Dbs on different servers our VB
application that was working fine now giving error "Stack
Out of space" error 28.
This error is comming only while opening few forms. We
have analysed that this error is comming when some SP is
called to fill the combo list in form.
To fix this problem we have installed SQl 2000 client and
Service pack 3 on 2 client machines . After doing this,
problem is not comming but i can not do this for all 150
client machines.
The other way to fix this problem is to install ADO 2.8.
Please advice me what could be the reason of this problem
and how to overcome to this problem.
Is this problem comming due to server configuration or
some DLL missing on client machines .
Thanks
