I always explain myself that data is everything that may have meaning
when placed in the correct context, and view it as the "raw material".

Information is processed data that makes sense for people and is useful
within the used context. It is the "product" of the data "raw material".

Usually this means data that has been structured according to a certain
model (for example a database schema).

If my previous explanation is correct (in your 'world'), then
unstructured data is data that does not fit the model.

I have no idea.

That term doesn't make sense to me. When it is not finished yet,
something might be partially structured, but semi-structured...?
Structured by someone who is very bad at his job and is called Semi??
:-)

Hope this helps,
