No reason. It's a perfectly acceptable solution in every way. It's just
that on some highly normalized systems the propagation of keys can get
large once you start moving down the relational heirarchy. It's just
something to watch out for. Also, intelligent keys, if they are used,
sometimes need to change in a production system and if the keys are
propagate, this becomes more difficult to perform.
