I'm not sure, you should call to see exactly how that works.

That's simply wrong. If you're buying something on behalf of the company,
you should be reimbursed. Period.
If you fly to a remote site for the company, do you pick up the airfare,
hotel, etc? Do you buy your own operating system and office suite too?
Maybe the company takes a portion of the air conditioning bill off your
paycheck?
If the company isn't willing to reimburse you $99 (or front the fee
themselves!), then you're working for the wrong company, IMHO.
