Found an article @
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;EN-US;288577
I am getting error
sqlmaint.exe failed. [SQLSTATE 42000] (Error 22029). The step fail
I am not renaming the Maintenance plan for the transaction backup but, when creating backups I almost always rename the Maintenance plans and also add steps to to them. QUESTION - Is this why I get this error? Should I re-create all the DB backups? One thing is that I have been able to restore from BAK created but some of the Transaction Backups (.TRN) get thsi error message.
Thanks for your answer,
