G'day again steve,
Yeah, I cut and pasted that statement directly from Query Analyser. This
is amazingly frustrating! If only...
The work*** looks like this:
username firstname lastname actionID
benh ben h 21
etc...
Is it because I'm using MSDE??
Also, just after I've run the command in QA and I try to open the xl
file from file manager, it says I can't:
Cannot access 'format.xls'.
If I wait a while it lets me.
I have just tried this again with a brand-spanking new workbook, no
password (not that the other had a password), no access restrictions, on
another local drive (C:) and still no joy.
It must be the Jet driver? DTS can handle the file.
Any help? I imagine you're getting bored of this.
Ben
