You now have an easy to read pattern:
"<from ISO currency code><underscore><to ISO currency
code><underscore>ratio"
My validation comes from the three letter ISO currency codes. My and
verification comes from some banking website.
A change in currency would create a new data element in the model. If
uyou are in the EU these days, I suppose the right way would be to
convert everything to EUR and back out again.
