second instance of Sql Server 2000

I installed a second instance of Sql Server 2000 in a machine with WinXP
Professional.

I followed the instructions of the book Dominating SQL Server 2000 - the
Bible. Gundeloy.

But when I rotate the sql server it usually works with the instance pattern,
however doesn't appear anything of the second instance.

Does anybody know me the one to say what to do to work with the two
instances?

The reason of having two instances is to test the replication using an only
one it conspires.
