Hi cpnet,
Unfortunately SSAS 2005 does not provide such function in such a thin granular level. By using SQL Server 2005
Management Studio, you can only statically create roles and restrict access to dimension members. You may refer to the
section "To use the Basic tab to give a database role access to a member in a dimension" in this article:
Granting Custom Access to Dimension Data
http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms175366(SQL.90).aspx
Since this is a product limitation, currently there is no workaround for this. Appreciate your understanding on this. If you
are very concerned with this, please give your feedback to our product team at https://connect.microsoft.com/sql. You
will be notified by email when they respond to you.
Thank you!
Best regards,
Charles Wang

Note: The MSDN Managed Newsgroup support offering is for
non-urgent issues where an initial response from the community
or a Microsoft Support Engineer within 1 business day is acceptable.
Please note that each follow up response may take approximately
2 business days as the support professional working with you may
need further investigation to reach the most efficient resolution.
The offering is not appropriate for situations
that require urgent, real-time or phone-based interactions or complex
project analysis and dump analysis issues. Issues of this nature are best
handled working with a dedicated Microsoft Support Engineer by
contacting Microsoft Customer Support Services (CSS) at
http://msdn.microsoft.com/subscriptions/support/default.aspx.
