I'm not sure if there are any issues running DTS packages between SQL
Server versions, but there should not be any issues running SP4
relational with SP3 OLAP.
The 2 servers run independently. Unless you have your Olap repository on
your sql server you do not even need the relational server installed.

Team;
I've got 15 olap servers that have SP3 relational and SP3 olap.
I'm concerned because we use SP4 relationally everywhere else.
Should i be concerned about making packages in SP4 and then executing
them in SP3?
I'm just super-apprehensive about mixing SP3 and SP4 so much. It seems
dangerous to me.
PS - We havent/can't upgrade to SP4 on the Olap side because we dont
want to update each of our 2,000 client machines. Putting SP4 on the
Olap servers would require that we update to SP4 PivotTable Service on
each of our desktops.. right?
Thanks
