Hi!
I have a problem with the Analysis Services Migration Wizard (SQL Server
2005).
When migrating from Analysis Services 2000, I get the following error when
validating the source databases:
Unable to cast COM object of type 'System.__ComObject' to interface type
'Interop.Dso.IPartition90Ex'. This operation failed because the
QueryInterface call on the COM component for the interface with IID
'{F82195C2-53A0-41B5-B7D8-7D087BAE32CF}' failed
due to the following error: No such interface supported (Exception from
HRESULT: 0x80004002 (E_NOINTERFACE)).
I found in another newsgroup this:
"Then I noticed that my DSO dll's are all version 8.0.2039... But the RTC
dlls are 8.05.1054 (which I think are later). So I have no idea why my
DLL's
are so old having just having installed SS 2005. So I copied the DSO
folder
from the RTC virtual PC and made a subfolder to C:\Program Files\Common
Files\Microsoft\DSO\Test. I put the DLL's in here and registered all of
them.
restarted AS 2000, and The Migration Wizard now works".
I don't know how means "RTC" and I don't know where I can find this
libraries. Can you help me?
