Re: SQL Server Accelerator for Business Intelligence 1.2 - installer does not detect Office SP1 when SP2 present

I was part of the dev team which did version 1.0 and 1.1 -- then SSABI
transitioned to a different group so I can only comment on the core
techniques we used; not 1.2 specifics.
Origianlly we wrote it for checks with SP1 only. It looks for a build#
larger than a particularly value. Unfortunately, then the office guys
changed how they number their builds and it broke the validation checks. The
only time this is used is during install time (again I can speak for 1.0 and
1.1 only). The only real workaround that I have is to go back to SP1 (may
need an Office re-install); then install SSABI; then upgrade to the later
Office pack.
