Hi.
I'm new to cubes. i'm working on BI 2005. i am facing some problems and i
would be very thankful if someone could help me.
first problem with aggregates.
I have 4 dimensions of which one of them is a time dimension. After
processing the cube the totals are either sum or count or first/last child as
can be defined in the Cube builder tab. however i want the totals to reflect
a calculation that i do myself. and the calculation differs depending on the
dimension. and i tried in the Calculations tab to create measure using
MDX.but i can't find how they r applied.
any one can help please?

Second problem is that after processing the cube and while trying to view
the data, the server is freezing. it is consuming a lot of resources. i have
pentium 4 2.4 Ghz, 1 gb ram windows 2000 pro. i am using views as dimesions.
could that be the problem? what are the specifications for a server for cubes
and .net?

thanks
tina
