Ref: the question about connect strings with Novell, sorry, I don't
understand. Are you asking from a domain perspective, network type, or what?
Ref: best install of PTS? Use the version of ptslite.exe or ptsfull.exe
which comes in the \msolap\install\pts folder of the SP3 Analysis Services
distribution.
Ref: dropping the server and re-install -- what technique outlined in the
Operations Guide are you trying to use? None of the techniques required a
reinstall of Analysis Services, so I am a bit confused.
