It was not an http connection. I tried connecting
through OWC and Excel. I installed ptsfull.exe on the
client machine too. My next potential issue is that this
server (Windows 2000) is also their Domain Controller.
If a user logs into a client machine as the Domain
Administrator, they can gain access to the server using
Excel's Pivot Table Services and view the cubes and all
that stuff. If they log in as themselves and not as the
domain administrator, it gives the error message, which
is No Error Message Provided. I know this was an issue
with Windows NT, but I thought it shouldn't be one with
Windows 2000. From the server it self, I can open
Analysis Manager and view the cubes, I can use OWC and
Excel, but not from the client. Everytime I have had
this problem it has been due to security reasons. But
since it is a Domain Controller also, it might make
things more interesting.
What if I upgrade the Repository to SQL Server 2000?
Then I shouldn't have to worry about access to the Bin
Folder?
Thanks for your help!
